He’e Nalu is focused on interactions between the user and the product.

Meaningfull movements blend in with projections on the product. Beside these requirements also the element of animalism is included.

Together with two other students we chose to develop a meaningfull interactive product for surfers. With our design, surfers should be able to look at the weather on the sea. Waveheight, tides and windspeed are indicated by the movements of the design. By combining the movement of a motor under a canvas with projections we mimiced the sea. The result was a product where projections and movements seemed to blend in with eachother.
